The delightful President’s Dining Room is on the lower ground floor, is accessible via the discreet President’s staircase.
This is an intimate function space, full of character and has a large period solid wooden table which seats 18 people comfortably. It is perfect for a small intimate boardroom meeting or a unique private dining event.
There is enough space in the room to also host a small pre-dining drinks reception, perfect for an introduction about the bespoke menu and matching fine wines when partaking of our fine dining experience.
The room has all manner of interesting artefacts collected by the Institution over time; the cornices are decorated in embellished plaster work and there are windows which let in natural daylight. The room can also be made cosier and given a more intimate feel with winged leather armchairs, solid wood sideboards and closed blue and gold curtains.
The room interconnects with the Tredgold room which can be used as a pre-dinner meeting or seminar room.
